Hello, dear friends.
A new year brings a fresh start, a place where we can begin again. They say healing is like a spiral staircase — we keep treading over the same places, but we are going up and up all the while. I hope 2026 is peaceful and full of growth for you.
I invite everyone to join us at the Fayetteville Public Library each Saturday this month at 2pm for an educational and collaborative learning experience. We will be delving into the heart of RD’s mission: to empower people to create their own unique path to recovery. Knowledge is power, and connecting with each other in community builds bridges that strengthen us.
Tomorrow we will go over the detox/healing process, and what to expect when quitting drinking. Please remember, loves, that quitting drinking can be dangerous and potentially fatal for people who are physically addicted to alcohol. If you think this may be you, please see a doctor to learn how to safely detox from alcohol.
Have you ever wondered: “Do I have a drinking problem?” Everyone will leave with a clear answer to this question after tomorrow’s meeting.
I hope to see y’all there! May you be happy and free.
